(e) How many persons who would otherwise have come

within the operation of the Scheme were exempted from its operation (i) before the 1st July 1940

(ii) after the 1st July 1940.

(1) By whom in every case was exemption granted. (g) Whether those responsible for granting exemption

were in any way guilty of discrimination lack of

impartiality or unfairness.

And that for such purpose evidence be taken from all persons responsible for the institution and administration of the

Scheme and from those by whom exemption was granted. I shall therefore be obliged if you will put this request before His Excellency the Governor in Council and in due course let me

know whether the request is granted.
